atNorth Strengthens Leadership Team with Two New Director Appointments Amid Growth Strategy

atNorth Expands Leadership Team to Fuel Growth

atNorth, a prominent Nordic provider of high-density colocation and tailored data center solutions, has recently appointed two new directors, marking a significant step in its growth strategy. These appointments come at a time when demand for atNorth’s services is on the rise, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership as it scales operations.

New Leadership Roles

Director of Public Affairs and Communications: Tatu Tuominen
Tatu Tuominen steps into the role of Director of Public Affairs and Communications, where he will oversee atNorth's strategies in policy engagement and corporate communications. Tatu's responsibilities will include crafting a cohesive narrative that aligns with the company's objectives, enhancing community relations, investor engagement, and customer interaction. His extensive experience includes senior roles in communications, notably at Bayer and the VR Group, as well as expertise in public affairs acquired at the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU. This background positions him well to manage relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders, crucial as digital infrastructure continues to adapt to technological advancements. Tatu will be based at atNorth's FIN02 facility and report directly to Fredrik Jansson, the Chief Strategy, Marketing and Communications Officer.

Director of HSE: Anne Helenius-Heir
Joining the leadership team alongside Tatu is Anne Helenius-Heir, who takes on the role of Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). Anne’s focus will be on developing a comprehensive HSE roadmap to ensure a high-performance and compliant organization. Her previous experience at Shell, ABB, and Kemira Oyj has equipped her with the skills necessary to implement global EHSQ frameworks and improve safety cultures within organizations. At atNorth, she will work to ensure the health and safety of all personnel and the integrity of the campuses themselves as they evolve. Anne's office will also be at the FIN02 campus and she will report to Janne Sigurdsson, the Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer.

Commitment to Expansion and Sustainability

The appointment of Tatu and Anne is part of atNorth's strategy to enhance its leadership depth to meet increasing demand for sustainable data centers. Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, CEO of atNorth, expressed pride in welcoming these talented leaders. He emphasized that their vision and expertise will be crucial to driving ongoing expansion while maintaining a commitment to environmentally responsible practices in data center operations.

In addition to these new director roles, atNorth has made several strategic appointments across its operations. This includes Delivery Directors for each country of operation, reflecting a robust approach to leadership development across the organization.
