Exciting News for Gamers and Tourists in Okinawa
On August 7, 2025, a new entertainment venue,
GiGO Naha International Street, will officially open its doors along Okinawa's bustling International Street. Managed by
GENDA GiGO Entertainment, this will mark the third GiGO location in Okinawa, bringing fresh gaming experiences to the island’s most vibrant tourist destination.
International Street is a must-visit spot in Naha, lined with around
460 shops that offer a mix of dining, shopping, and authentic Okinawan experiences. Each year, about
7.4 million tourists flock to this lively area, which is active from morning until late at night. With the addition of GiGO Naha, this iconic thoroughfare will soon feature an arcade experience that has been missing from the shopping district.
Location and Accessibility
GiGO Naha International Street will be easily accessible as it is situated just a
5-minute walk from
Kencho-Mae Station, right within the
M Building on the first through third floors. Visitors can dive into a world of fun, with exciting games featured on the first two floors, including a major focus on
crane games. The third floor will house
music games and
photo sticker booths, catering to various tastes and preferences among the patrons.
As part of its opening, GiGO will also introduce special collaboration campaigns and unique, location-specific rewards to attract visitors and keep them engaged.
A Digital Takeover
To celebrate the grand opening, from
August 4 to August 31, 2025, the entire
1.6 km stretch of the International Street will be adorned with
Japan's largest digital signage installation, known as the
Naha International Street Vision. The signage will consist of
98 panels, uniquely illustrating the grand opening of GiGO Naha. Expect vibrant graphics and dynamic visuals guiding visitors to the new location while immersing them in an engaging ambiance reminiscent of GiGO's colorful branding.
