Mita Seimenjo's Exquisite Mentaiko Mazesoba: A Culinary Delight
In a celebration of its 50th store opening, Mita Seimenjo, managed by MP Kitchen Holdings, has introduced a new and improved dish that fans of the restaurant will love: the
Exquisite Mentaiko Mazesoba. This dish, which returns due to popular demand, combines luxurious flavors that promise to make every bite irresistible.
Availability and Pricing
The Exquisite Mentaiko Mazesoba will be available from April 28 to May 11, 2025, with a standard portion priced at 1,100 yen and a large portion at 1,350 yen (both including tax). For those with a premium ticket, the upgrade to a large size is available at no extra cost. Given its popularity, however, it's worth noting that this dish will only be offered while supplies last, and is not available for takeout.
A Flavorful Experience
The dish showcases a superb blend of meticulously selected mentaiko (spicy cod roe) paired with thick, chewy noodles that create a wonderfully rich flavor profile. The topped ingredients include aromatic shiso leaves and nori, which enhance the delectable mentaiko. Additionally, pampered customers will find tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu (braised pork) as a delightful topping, making every bowl not just a meal, but an experience.
Mita Seimenjo's Commitment to Quality
Mita Seimenjo prides itself on its exceptional
Thick Tonkotsu Seafood Broth. This broth is created by carefully simmering pork bones and seafood to extract intense flavors, and it’s crafted thoughtfully to pair beautifully with their distinctive thick noodles. Known for being accommodating, Mita Seimenjo offers three different sizes—small, medium, and large—at the same price, allowing customers to enjoy larger portions without extra cost.
The thick noodles are another standout feature. Mita Seimenjo uses a custom blend of various types of flour, adjusting the water content depending on the day's humidity and temperature. This thorough process ensures that each serving achieves the perfect level of chewiness and enhances the natural flavors of the noodles. They are served al dente and promptly cooled in cold water to lock in that delightful texture.
Pioneers of Tsukemen
Established in 2008 in Mita, Tokyo, Mita Seimenjo has quickly grown into a notable name across Japan, boasting 50 locations by March 2025. As a specialist in tsukemen, Mita Seimenjo isn't just focused on their signature
Thick Tonkotsu Seafood Tsukemen but also offers a wide range of seasonal dishes and sides, including award-winning fried chicken, which recently earned a gold prize in the Eastern Japan Soy Sauce Sauce Category at the 11th Fried Chicken Grand Prix.
Engagement Beyond Dining
Mita Seimenjo is not just a restaurant; it’s a movement that promotes the enjoyment of tsukemen. The company is also involved in various projects, from e-commerce and YouTube videos to the launch of a delivery service called 'Demise Mita Seimenjo', making it even easier for fans to indulge in these culinary delights.
