XCMG Launches Innovative Overseas Training Initiative in Uzbekistan to Foster Global Construction Talent

XCMG Launches Joint Overseas Training Program in Uzbekistan

In a significant move aimed at fortifying the global construction industry, XCMG Machinery, a leading manufacturer in the field, officially inaugurated an overseas training program in Uzbekistan. This initiative sets a new standard by integrating education and industry in a tripartite model known as “school-enterprise-school.” The program is designed to link XCMG's international branches with educational institutions in the city of Suzhou, China, strategically preparing professionals to support Chinese companies as they expand abroad.

Structure of the Program

The training program is meticulously structured into three phases spanning 18, 6, and 12 months, facilitating a comprehensive learning experience. It combines theoretical education with practical, hands-on training, culminating in an ecosystem that aligns the demands of the industry with the skills and knowledge imparted to students. Participants in this program will engage in a diverse curriculum aimed at equipping them with essential career skills, including language proficiency and industry experience.

“Internationalization has always been a pivotal strategy for XCMG. Our commitment to pioneering paths for Chinese equipment manufacturers in the global market hinges on talent from around the world,” stated Yang Dongsheng, the General Director and Chairman of XCMG Machinery. He emphasized that fostering a pool of skilled professionals is crucial in realizing this vision and promoting employee growth on an international scale.

Building a Global Ecosystem

The program's alignment with industry needs aims to bolster a global cooperation framework, enhancing partnerships between academia and businesses. Uzbekistan, being a crucial strategic market for the Chinese construction machine industry in Central Asia, plays a vital role in this initiative. XCMG established its first manufacturing base in Central Asia in Uzbekistan in 2014 and has since delivered thousands of products to support local mining, agriculture, and other sectors over the past decade.

Through platforms such as the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technicians College, XCMG is committed to harnessing local educational opportunities that further global talent development and sector growth. In recent years, XCMG has utilized its training centers to develop the skills of nearly 1,000 technical professionals from 25 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative – including nations like Gabon, Brazil, and Indonesia. The company strengthens the initiative through the cultivation of a qualified workforce, significantly enhancing its growth dynamics.

Conclusion

The launch of this overseas training initiative symbolizes XCMG’s dedication to supporting the construction industry globally while honing talent that meets the evolving demands of the sector. For more details about the program, one can visit XCMG's official website.
