MetLife Introduces a New Insurance Plan: 'Be With You Plus II'
On October 1, MetLife Life Insurance Company, under the leadership of CEO Dirk Osteen, rolled out its new single premium whole life insurance plan, named 'Be With You Plus II (USD Denomination) - Protection-Focused Plan (No Health Declaration Required)'. This plan will be available through direct sales by the company’s sales representatives and a network of insurance agents nationwide. Notably, it was previously launched through financial institution channels in April this year.
The 'Be With You' series has been highly popular since its debut in 2005, combining lifelong protection with asset formation capabilities. Presently, MetLife offers both yen-based and USD-denominated plans with options for health declarations or none, allowing customers to select based on their preferences.
The newly introduced 'Protection-Focused Plan (No Health Declaration Required)' in the direct sales and insurance agency channels aims to meet the rising demand for asset inheritance, especially post-retirement. This plan offers high efficiency in coverage through various enhancements.
Key Features of 'Be With You Plus II (USD Denomination) - Protection-Focused Plan (No Health Declaration Required)'
1.
No Health Declaration Required at Enrollment: Only occupational notification is necessary.
2.
Death Benefit Exceeding Premiums After Initial Period: After the first insurance period of either 2 or 5 years, the death benefit will be guaranteed to surpass the single premium payment in USD.
3.
Stable Basic Interest Rate: The rate applied at the time of contract will hold throughout the lifetime of the insurance.
4.
Minimum Guarantee Option: During the initial insurance period, it is possible to add a minimum guarantee in yen to the death benefit through special provisions.
5.
Increased Coverage for Higher Premiums: Policies with single premium payments of over $400,000 will benefit from additional basic death coverage.
This plan is structured to allow a reduction in the coverage during the first insurance period to enhance the coverage in the subsequent period. This innovative approach assures clients of substantial benefits over time.
MetLife aims to be not only a provider of safety in unfortunate circumstances but also a reliable partner in daily health and asset formation. The company is committed to continuing responsibility towards customers' brighter futures by creating products and services that cater to the evolving needs of society.
