Dimensional Innovations Enhances UCF's Roth Tower

Dimensional Innovations (DI), a premier experience design and fabrication company, has successfully completed its innovative work on the expanded Roth Tower at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The tower is an integral part of the Acrisure Bounce House, which is about to host its inaugural game on September 3, 2026. This project is the culmination of a robust three-year renovation aimed at enhancing the football stadium. The new branding for Roth Tower and a comprehensive wayfinding program designed by DI seamlessly intertwine UCF's football culture with its profound connections to the aerospace sector.

The expansive updates to Roth Tower promise not only to heighten the spectator experience on game days but also to furnish luxurious and versatile spaces for a myriad of community events year-round. This upgrade includes the introduction of 28 luxury suites and 34 outdoor Sky Suites, expanding club area capacity significantly from 4,400 to 15,650 square feet. Terry Mohajir, Vice President and Director of Athletics at UCF, emphasized the ambition to craft an experience that resonates with the institution's rich narrative as America's Space University, thereby maintaining a bold and innovative identity.

Immersive Features

Among the tower's standout features is the Star Chamber, which invites guests into a surreal experience with a night sky, depicted using fiber-optic technology. The softly flickering lights symbolize the constellation-named paths throughout the university's campus. This immersive setting transitions guests into the Galaxy Club, adorned with stunning visuals captured by UCF’s telescopes. Alongside this captivating aesthetic, informative content enriches guests' understanding of the celestial elements, transforming game days into engaging educational experiences.

Ashley Loch, creative director at Dimensional Innovations, articulated the intention behind the design: to craft spaces that embody UCF's unique characteristics, tempting visitors to return even outside game days. The bars and gathering spots throughout the building take on names from major constellations, serving both a functional and thematic purpose that enhances navigation without the need for conventional signage.
