CLO Summit Munich 2025: A Milestone for 3D Fashion Community



CLO Virtual Fashion, a leading provider of 3D garment visualization and design technology, recently hosted its most significant event to date, the CLO Summit Munich 2025. Held on September 30 at Munich's vibrant Bergson Kunstkraftwerk, this summit marked a pivotal moment in the 3D fashion landscape, attracting over 300 experts from across Europe.

For the first time, the summit opened its doors not just to corporate clients but also to freelancers and academic professionals, fostering a unique networking environment and serving as a talent hub for the European 3D community.

Among the attendees were professionals from more than 100 notable brands, including H&M, Marks & Spencer, adidas, HUGO BOSS, and ZARA, as well as prominent educational institutions like the London College of Fashion and the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. The presence of leading freelance 3D designers and creatives underscored the summit's reputation as a premier meeting point for innovation and collaboration.

During the event, CLO Virtual Fashion's CEO, Simon JH Kim, and co-founders Jaden Oh and Yazan Malkosh led insightful presentations and panel discussions, diving into the future of CLO and the growing demand for virtualization in the fashion industry. Jaden Oh expressed his excitement about interacting with users face-to-face, emphasizing the importance of their feedback in enhancing user workflows and creating a seamless experience from design to production.

The agenda for this year's summit was tailored to address best practices and scalable solutions for 3D workflows, acknowledging Europe as a mature market for 3D technology. Attendees explored scalable solutions designed in collaboration with CLO’s Ecosystem Partnership Program, featuring partners like EnhanceThat, DMIx, Epic Games, and Adobe Substance 3D, who showcased their contributions to streamlining digital design processes.

One of the highlights was the launch of the Rising Talent Award, aimed at bridging the gap between academia and the fashion industry. High school students from 39 European schools showcased their 3D design projects, leading to 78 nominations. Ten finalists received a year-long CLO subscription to further develop their skills, with cash prizes awarded to the top two for outstanding conceptual and technical designs.
