The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) has officially released its Year in Review for 2026, showcasing an impressive record of initiatives that propelled economic development in Brunswick and Glynn County. In the financial year 2026, GIDA successfully facilitated a remarkable $70 million in new capital investments, which in turn created 91 new job opportunities. This favorable climate for business was driven by key projects, including Project Parrot and ongoing developments at Hillpointe. In addition, GIDA provided support for the expansion of five local businesses, which include notable firms such as Troy Acoustics, Jered, Quaker City Plating, Brewer Technologies, and RSW.

GIDA's outreach efforts significantly grew the workforce initiatives, engaging around 6,000 individuals, including educators, parents, students, and community members through its “Keep Glynn Running” program.
