Prove Human Pop-up by Done
On September 26 and 27, 2025, a unique pop-up event titled
Prove Human Pop-up by Done will occur in Tokyo. This special event is a collaboration between the vintage clothing brand
Done, which specializes in re-editing secondhand apparel, and
World, a platform that offers 'Proof of Human' in an AI-dominated age. This event invites guests to explore the increasingly vital concept of proving actual humanity in the era of artificial intelligence.
How to Prove Your Humanity
During the two-day pop-up, visitors can choose from two engaging methods to validate their humanity:
1.
Challenge the World's Toughest CAPTCHA: Visitors can attempt the famously difficult CAPTCHA that has a reported success rate of only 0.002%. For this event, a simplified version of the puzzle will be available in Japanese, making it accessible yet challenging.
2.
Authenticate with World ID using Orb: Utilizing the Orb device, visitors can verify their humanity through the World ID system.
Participants who successfully demonstrate their humanity via either method will receive a special limited-edition T-shirt, the
Join The Real Human Network Vintage Tee re-edit by Done, as a reward for their effort. This unique T-shirt is crafted from re-edited vintage clothing, designed to embody the theme of 'real human networks' that
World champions. Each T-shirt holds its uniqueness courtesy of the vintage source, making each piece one-of-a-kind, just like the humans it represents.
After the event, the same limited-edition T-shirts will be available on the
Done official website. Thanks to
Shopify's World ID verification system, only genuine humans—not bots—will be able to purchase these exclusive items.
The Need for Human Proof in the Age of AI
The rapid evolution of generative AI has blurred the lines between humans and bots, creating challenges that significantly impact our daily lives. Issues such as impersonation fraud on social media, misinformation proliferation, deepfakes, and the bot-driven hoarding of tickets and exclusive items have emerged. Traditional verification methods like reCAPTCHA are increasingly bypassed, highlighting the urgent need for reliable methods of confirming one's humanity.
World offers a solution with the World ID, which is issued uniquely to each verified individual. This innovative approach maintains user anonymity while providing a secure means to validate one's humanity in an age when the presence and trustworthiness of humans are paramount.
World is committed to building a network of real humans and ensuring their significance remains intact amid technological advances.
Voices from the Brand: Comment from Done CEO
Eto, the CEO of Done, expresses: “The question of 'What does it mean to be a true human?' is more pertinent than ever in this evolving age of AI. The fashion industry faces challenges such as bot-driven hoarding and the rampant spread of fake accounts. Our collaboration is aimed at addressing these societal issues through fashion.”
Eto further states, “The proof of humanity provided by
World will be essential for the future. Done has continuously questioned how to walk into the future through the lens of fashion. Our hope is to convey the importance of being human and living with love through this project. We wish for the message, 'Not AI, but love,' to resonate with someone living in these times.”
