Key Highlights from Daqo's Presentation

One of the centerpiece exhibits was the DQS Air Series, a Ring Main Unit (RMU) that utilizes dry air insulation instead of the traditional SF6 gas, which has raised environmental concerns due to its potency as a greenhouse gas. This innovative design combines dry air insulation with vacuum interruption technology, creating a more environmentally responsible alternative for medium-voltage electrical networks. In addition to the conventional RMU, Daqo also showcased an SF6-free secondary distribution solution that emphasizes flexibility in configuration, smart monitoring, and remote operation capabilities. As renewable energy and energy storage projects gain momentum, Daqo has excelled with its container solutions for photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These solutions integrate step-up transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage distribution devices, monitoring systems, and auxiliary systems into a factory-ready block. For energy-intensive sectors such as data centers, Daqo presented its DQMpower 2.0, a modular power solution that combines low-voltage distribution with uninterruptible power supply functionalities, energy quality management, and monitoring capabilities.
