Ovivo Inc. Sells Electronics Division to Ecolab

MONTREAL, August 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Ovivo Inc., a global leader in water and wastewater treatment equipment and technologies, has announced a definitive agreement to sell its electronics division to Ecolab, a worldwide player in sustainability solutions. This move, valued at approximately CAD 2.4 billion, is set to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.

This transaction is poised to be a significant milestone in Ovivo's history, opening doors to new perspectives and opportunities within Ecolab's electronics division. As part of this agreement, Ecolab, headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota, will expand its capabilities in providing water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions—a critical service deployed across more than 170 countries with a workforce of about 48,000 employees.
