Exclusive Streaming of Game Center CX Special Tour in Kyushu

The popular Japanese show, Game Center CX, is set to launch a new special episode entitled "Game Center CX: If You're Going Occasionally, Kyushu Bullet Tour - Seeking Rare Games!" exclusively on the video streaming platform FOD, starting at midnight on December 27, 2025. This limited-time special follows the beloved program, which has been a staple of CS Fuji Television for over 20 years, featuring the engaging host, Shinya Ariyoshi, known as "Kachō Ariyoshi" from the comedy duo Yoiko, as he dives into nostalgic retro games.

In this particular special, Kachō Ariyoshi embarks on an exhilarating whirlwind tour throughout Kyushu, exploring various gaming hotspots as he seeks out rare and unique games. The fast-paced journey not only highlights Kachō's quest for gaming treasures but also reveals his personal side through candid moments captured on camera. Notably, he takes on the classic game "Pikmin," a nostalgic favorite from his childhood era, and aims to reach the ending screen—a challenge that, due to its complexity, takes him two intensive days to accomplish.

After a rigorous schedule that spans 500 kilometers over two nights and three days focused primarily on movement, viewers can look forward to a rich array of content. Besides presenting the main episodes, the airing will include additional unseen footage and stories that could not be accommodated in the original broadcasts, encompassing a total of four compelling episodes.

In a heartfelt message, Kachō Ariyoshi expressed, "Hello, this is Kachō Ariyoshi from Game Center CX! For the viewers of FOD, I ventured to Kyushu in search of rare games. The tour had a very tight schedule, and I managed to play many games along the way! It was a lot of fun! My challenge included playing 'Pikmin', which has surprisingly become a retro game since the show began in 2003. Having fun revisiting this game after so many years was amazing; it took me two full days to master it. Given the sheer volume of content we have, this will be an exciting four-week distribution. Don't miss it!"
