Hama Sushi Launches the Hokkaido To Tohoku Delicacy Festival at 100 Yen!

Hama Sushi's Exciting New Festival

Hama Sushi, the esteemed 100 yen sushi chain led by CEO Tetsushi Minami and based in Minato, Tokyo, is ready to delight sushi lovers nationwide with the Hokkaido To Tohoku Delicacy Festival, launching on February 4.

This culinary event brings a rich selection of seasonal delicacies sourced from the bountiful seas of Japan's northern regions. Guests can enjoy the Sanriku Large Cut Salmon, known for its tender texture and deep flavor, and indulge in the crispy Hokkaido Fried Hoki Sushi, both available for only 100 yen (tax included at 110 yen). This is an opportunity to savor the freshest seafood straight from the Harbors of Hokkaido and Tohoku at an unbeatable price.

In addition to these offerings, the festival will feature the Aomori Large Steamed Scallops that preserve their rich flavors through steaming, available for just 160 yen (tax included at 176 yen). Food enthusiasts will also appreciate the Hokkaido Red Squid with Sea Urchin Mix, a perfect harmony of umami flavors, and the unique Smoked Daikon and Cream Cheese Gunkan, which pairs the classic Akita delicacy “Iburi-gakko” with creamy delight, priced at 160 yen (tax included at 176 yen).

Moving on to their premium selection, diners can treat themselves to two luxurious sushi options: the Iwate Beef Five-Star Sushi, utilizing only the finest quality grade 5 meat, and the Directly Grilled Beef Tongue Sushi, which are both exquisite representations of Japan’s culinary traditions. The Iwate Beef sushi is priced at 290 yen (tax included at 319 yen), and the grilled beef tongue sushi at 390 yen (tax included at 429 yen).

To round out the meal, Hama Sushi offers delicious side dishes, including the Crispy Zunda Spring Roll (two pieces) at 220 yen (tax included at 242 yen), which is filled with the sweet and creamy edamame paste known as zunda, a specialty from Miyagi.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with special desserts too, such as the Fresh Chocolate Mont Blanc for 270 yen (tax included at 297 yen) — a chocolate sponge topped with luscious whipped chocolate and sauce — and the Berry Cute Strawberry Parfait for 430 yen (tax included at 473 yen), an eye-catching treat inspired by classic shortcake and featuring a refreshing strawberry jelly.

To commemorate the festival launch, Hama Sushi is running an exclusive campaign on their official X account (formerly Twitter) from February 3 at 10:30 AM to February 5 at 11:59 PM. Participants can enter to win one of 20 dining vouchers worth 10,000 yen by following the official account (@hamasushi_jp) and quoting a campaign post with the hashtag #HamaSushiHokkaidoTohokuDelicacy along with their desired dish.

This culinary extravaganza is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts and anyone interested in experiencing the flavors of Hokkaido and Tohoku. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to explore seasonal delights offered at a fraction of the usual price!
