This pop-up experience, presented in collaboration with Versatile and produced by Lover LLC, runs from May 7 to 9, 2026. It aims to provide visitors with a peaceful respite amid the bustling atmosphere of one of the world's most celebrated art events.

A Much-Needed Retreat

During the Biennale's opening week, thousands of collectors, curators, artists, and journalists flock to the city, creating an exciting yet overwhelming environment. Amidst this chaos, Calm Café emerges as a necessary counterbalance, offering an environment designed to slow down and unwind. Completely free and open to the public, this inviting space allows guests to step away from the relentless pace of art exhibitions and events, providing the perfect backdrop to recharge and concentrate.

Experience the Space

Housed in the recently opened premises of Versatile on Calle Seconda de la Fava, Calm Café is elegantly outfitted with intimate rooms, a terrace overlooking the canal, and a central lounge that serves as a press area for journalists to relax between meetings. Attendees can explore the café at their own pace, guided by a thoughtfully curated menu of calming rituals aimed at revitalizing the senses.

From breathing exercises using sand timers to journaling prompts and sensory kits complete with eye masks, earplugs, and grounding elements like lavender and comforting stones, each ritual encourages guests to pause and be present. The café not only nurtures creativity but also promotes a sense of serenity during this vibrant interval.

Additional Offerings

In addition to the calming rituals, the program features morning yoga sessions, watercolor classes, and live sound baths. All activities are completely optional, allowing individuals to engage at their leisure while fostering relaxation and supporting nervous system regulation.
