The House of Harry Winston Unveils a New Flagship Salon in Ginza

The House of Harry Winston, known as the "King of Diamonds" and the "Rare Jeweler of the World," has proudly announced the opening of its new flagship salon in Ginza, Tokyo. Situated at 1-7-10 Ginza, Chuo-ku, this expansive venue spans 869 square meters, making it the largest Harry Winston salon in Japan to date. The three-story location showcases a fresh design perspective that reinterprets the iconic style of Harry Winston through a contemporary architectural lens.

Nayla Hayek, CEO of Harry Winston, expressed the brand's long-standing affection for Japan, noting, "Japan holds a special place in the history of Harry Winston. Since the opening of our first salon in 1988, the country has played a crucial role in building the global legacy of our House." The location in Ginza - a hub of luxury where avant-garde design meets sustainable tradition - signifies the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Harry Winston, one that honors its deep-rooted relationships in Tokyo while offering an audacious vision for the future. "With this opening, we reaffirm our commitment to serve our clients, both new and existing, at the highest level," added Hayek.

The interior of the salon reflects the enduring heritage of the House with finely crafted polished white marble defining each floor's perimeter, accompanied by custom carpets that add warmth and texture to the space. The walls are adorned with glossy white textured wallpaper and marble, creating a luminous effect throughout. The space is further enhanced by a stunning chandelier and quality decorative furnishings that complement the overall ambiance.

Each floor of the flagship reveals a unique experience, guiding customers through an environment that pays homage to the brand's legacy and dedication to craftsmanship. The first floor is dedicated to wedding collections, while the second floor features exclusive signature collections, watches, and high jewelry creations that are among the House's finest examples. This level houses the largest VIP salon in Japan, providing an intimate setting for private client experiences. Additionally, a specialized concierge on the lower level focuses on enhancing after-sales services, particularly for maintenance and repairs of goods.

The exterior façade, covered in cream travertine marble, features display windows and three illuminated boxes showcasing the brand’s seasonal campaigns. Guests are welcomed through the iconic black and gold double doors of Harry Winston, adorned with rosettes and flanked by matching lanterns—elements that pay tribute to the historic flagship on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Since the inauguration of its first salon in Japan in 1988, Harry Winston has expanded its presence to include eight locations across the country. This new flagship in Ginza is not just an expansion; it's a testament to Harry Winston's enduring legacy in the world of luxury jewelry, showcasing their unwavering dedication to excellence and innovation. The Ginza flagship salon stands ready to impress with its commitment to superb craftsmanship and an unparalleled customer experience that continues to solidify Harry Winston's position at the forefront of the luxury jewelry market.
