For the sixth consecutive year, Spire has been honored as one of "America's Most Responsible Companies" by Newsweek, showcasing its dedication in the realms of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance. This recognition, revealed on December 4, 2024, positions Spire at number 252 among the top 600 companies in the nation, an impressive leap from its previous rank of 483 in 2023.

Notably, Spire achieved a 4.7% reduction in CO2e emissions compared to the previous year and has successfully reduced methane emissions from its gas utilities by over 51% since 2005, aiming for a 73% reduction by 2035.
