The Futako Tamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu, situated in the heart of Setagaya, Tokyo, invites you to indulge in an exquisite culinary journey with its special dinner course dubbed 'Menu aux Arômes'. From January 6, 2026, to March 31, 2026, guests can relish a unique gastronomic experience that focuses not only on taste but also on the enticing aromas of each dish.

Head chef Hasegawa passionately designed this course to stimulate all the senses. Each plate is crafted to enhance its aromatic profile, as scent significantly influences our perception of flavor and can evoke deep-seated emotions and memories.

  • - Warm Appetizer: Beef Tail and Foie Gras Ravioli
The meal begins with an eye-catching dish of vibrant green. Each ravioli, with its perfect chewy texture, envelops a rich filling of oxtail, foie gras, and tapenade. When you take a bite, the luxurious aroma of foie gras and the deep notes of oxtail fill the senses, teasing the nostrils. Accompanied by a green sauce featuring spinach and mascarpone, this dish is a delightful prelude.

  • - Seafood Dish: Poached Spanish Mackerel and Cod Milt in Seafood Butter Sauce
The seasonal Spanish mackerel is skillfully poached, locking in its flavors within a fragrant seafood butter sauce, complemented by a subtly bitter rapeseed flower risotto and decadent cod milt.
