This initiative aims to create a new food culture focused on extending healthy lifespans through optimized nutrition.

With a vision centered on wellness, Nissin is introducing a research experiment leveraging its cutting-edge nutritional optimization technology. The goal is to develop meals that not only look and taste great but also effectively control calories, salt, sugar, and fat content, ensuring balanced nutrition in every bite. Exclusive to Toyota Woven City, participants will be treated to a special menu featuring unique optimized meals, including custom hamburgers. This approach aims to foster an environment where enjoyment and well-being positively influence food choices. Participants' experiences will not only be assessed through subjective measures like personal well-being and psychological changes but will also include objective measures through medical testing to examine the impact of these meals on health outcomes.

The insights gained from this experiment will help Nissin advance its slogan of making Japan a leader in preventative health measures, focusing on promoting well-being via innovative food solutions. Professor Hiroshi Ito from Keio University’s Preventive Medicine Center commented on the significance of the initiative, stating, “Toyota Woven City is a pioneering space where food technology evolves to support well-being. This experiment benefits from Nissin's research, allowing for diverse optimized meal options to be enjoyed across different dining settings.” He emphasized the potential for these findings to expand the concept of balanced nutrition to a global scale, aiming for these optimized foods to become a standard in healthy eating.
