The league features identical 48V electric race karts designed by former Formula 1 engineers. FKL seasons cost between $3,000 and $7,000, a significant reduction compared to the typical $125,000+ expenses associated with traditional karting.

The competition is structured into various age classes: Bambino (5–8), Cadet (8–13), and Junior (12–17), with racers qualifying through regional and pro championships in both the U.K. and the U.S. This year, over 100 aspiring drivers from these regions will come together to race for exciting rewards, including a fully funded seat in the FIA British Formula 4 Championship for juniors.
