Chofu International Music Festival 2026

We are excited to announce that the Chofu International Music Festival 2026 will be held from June 20 to June 28. This year, the festival will be spearheaded by conductor and musician Masato Suzuki as the Executive Producer, accompanied by renowned pianist Yui Morishita as the Associate Producer. The festival will also be supervised by the world-renowned expert in Bach performances, Masaaki Suzuki.

The heart of the 2026 festival is encapsulated in its theme: “Delicious Music, Enjoy It!” Imagining the entire city of Chofu as a kitchen, composers are seen as chefs creating recipes while performers craft the sounds, and the audience enjoys the culinary delights of music. We aim to offer a rich array of musical 'dishes' that everyone can savor, from concerts suitable for all ages (even from zero years old) to orchestral performances, composition workshops, and unique collaborations, ensuring a memorable experience for each audience member.
