Midea Group Unveils Sustainable Heating Solutions for Europe at ISH 2025
Midea Group proudly presents its latest sustainable heating solutions at ISH 2025, held in Frankfurt under the compelling theme “Green Vision, Blue Future.” This year’s event shines a light on energy efficiency in heating and cooling for European buildings and households, addressing the significant role these establishments play in carbon emissions.
According to the European Environment Agency, buildings contributed to 34% of greenhouse gas emissions in the EU in 2022, primarily due to heating and cooling energy consumption. Fortunately, advancements in these systems have led to a notable 34% reduction in emissions from 2005 to 2022. As a global technology leader, Midea aims to continue this positive trend with advanced products that promise enhanced energy efficiency.
One of the main innovations showcased at the event is Midea’s R290 heating solutions, which have successfully mitigated 3.715 million tons of CO2 emissions through the sale of over 6.2 million units globally. The range of products being introduced for the European market includes the Nature ATW heat pump, the H-Pack heat pump, and water heaters from the Vita series, along with the innovative iEasyEnergy solution.
Nature ATW Heat Pump
This heat pump stands as one of Midea’s most advanced offerings, meticulously designed for the European market. With the highest EU ERP rating of A+++, the R290 Nature ATW Heat Pump boasts a natural refrigerant with a GWP of just 3 and an ODP of 0. It generates a hot water output at a remarkable temperature of 80 °C, making it perfect for residential needs. It also features a whisper-quiet compressor, operating at only 30 dB(A), quieter than a conventional refrigerator.
H-Pack Heat Pump
The H-Pack, innovated in Germany and designed in Italy, has received awards such as the German Design Award. This interior unit requires no outdoor installation, streamlining the setup process while saving time during repairs. Compatible with smart networks, the H-Pack facilitates an efficient hybrid mode that integrates with existing domestic gas boilers for optimal energy consumption.
Vita Series Water Heaters
In response to the demand for energy-efficient heating, the Vita series water heaters focus on the shift from purely electric storage systems to natural fuels. The line includes the hybrid Vita R290 water heater, the solar-powered Vita heater, and the gas flame Vita heater, which offers low NOx emissions and stable combustion, appealing to a broad demographic including older buildings and high-rise structures.
iEasyEnergy Solution
The iEasyEnergy system presents a smart and flexible energy management solution for air-to-water heat pumps, energy storage systems, and photovoltaic modules. Providing comprehensive support from design to installation of household energy devices, it achieves up to 90% energy self-sufficiency.
In addition to the R290 heating solutions, Midea introduced the Solstice, its latest smart air conditioning unit bolstered by artificial intelligence. Featuring a unique 180-degree oscillating wind deflector for cascading airflow, it guarantees comprehensive heating. Enhanced with a stainless steel chassis and robust heating components, Solstice ensures dependable performance throughout winter. Its ECOMASTER AI algorithm offers users over 30% additional energy savings.
Midea’s commitment is to deliver practical, comfortable, and sustainable solutions to European households and enterprises while supporting the HVAC industry’s evolution towards intelligent and sustainable development. As the leading global event for HVAC + Water, ISH 2025 encourages discussions around energy and water-saving solutions. Midea will showcase its contributions towards these vital goals at booth E91 in hall 12.0.
