Experience the Magic of Light and Horses at Tokyo Mega Illumination

The Tokyo Mega Illumination 2025-2026 is set to enchant visitors from November 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026, at Oi Racecourse. This stunning winter illumination event will be open on non-racing days for a total of 53 days. This season, we have revamped the highly acclaimed "Twinkle Light Show," where captivating lights synchronize with music, providing an immersive experience for all.

Highlights of the Event

Among the many attractions, the 100-meter-long "Edo Sakura Tunnel" stands out, drawing visitors into a realm filled with traditional Japanese charm. The "Japanese Landscape" area, along with other beautifully designed sections, welcomes guests with the shimmering beauty of lights.

Moreover, this season introduces new experiential content, including an interactive "Signage Object" that reacts to human movement and a user-friendly "Digital Map" that makes navigation easier for attendees.

Continuing the beloved horse-themed events unique to Tokyo Mega Illumination, guests can enjoy interactions with miniature horses and ponies, as well as a spectacular fountain show featuring guided horses. In an exciting collaboration, the event also welcomes RODY, a character that has become a favorite across the globe, offering delicious collaborative food options alongside unique experiences.

RODY Collaboration

This year marks the fourth collaboration with RODY, coinciding with its 35th anniversary in Japan. The event features an engaging playground dedicated to RODY, a brand-new flavor of the popular illuminated candy, and the introduction of glow-in-the-dark keychains. Guests who purchase selected collaboration menu items will receive a special RODY mascot as a gift.

In addition to delightful treats, a stamp rally will allow attendees to explore the venue and take part in a chance to win exclusive prizes related to RODY and the illumination itself. Furthermore, various greeting events where visitors can take photos with RODY will add to the unique experiences available.

Throughout the illumination season, more than 60 diverse events are planned, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Local community contributions will enhance the festivities with greeting events, performances, and pop-up shops that span a range of activities. In addition, workshops suitable for children and engaging stage events will also be organized.
