Partnership Agreement Between Daiichikosho and Narashino City

Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. has officially entered into a partnership with Narashino City, led by Mayor Taisuke Miyamoto, to launch a collaborative project aimed at utilizing the power of song and music to enhance the region's appeal. This agreement was signed on October 1, 2025, and seeks to tap into local musical resources, including the city song and PR song titled "Doremi Fanarashido♪" along with Daiichikosho's karaoke systems, such as the "DK Elder System."

Objectives of the Agreement

The main focus of this partnership is to promote Narashino City's uniqueness and increase its recognition by capitalizing on its rich musical assets. Through the use of karaoke technology, the initiative aims to create more opportunities for the public to sing the city song and other local tracks, fostering social interactions and communal connections.

Moreover, it is envisioned that this collaboration will contribute to health benefits by improving oral functions and preventing issues such as aspiration—which can arise in older adults. The potency of music as a tool for social integration and health enhancement forms the core underlying rationale of this agreement.

Upcoming Signing Ceremony

The official signing ceremony is set to take place on October 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:20 AM, at the Special Conference Room on the third floor of the Narashino City Hall. This event will mark a significant milestone in the city's commitment to community engagement through music.

Background and Initiatives

Narashino City has been proactive in its local revitalization efforts through music, encapsulated in its brand message: "A city where tomorrow's harmony resonates." The city has recognized the potential of local songs, including its city anthem and promotional tracks, in energizing community spirit and attracting interest to Narashino as a vibrant locale.

Since 2022, Daiichikosho has been an active partner in the annual "Platz Narashino Singing Competition," held at the Narashino Lifelong Learning Complex, known as "Platz Narashino." This partnership has provided a platform for residents to engage in singing activities.

In line with the new agreement, Daiichikosho intends to distribute the city song and PR song "Doremi Fanarashido♪" on DAM, their karaoke platform. Additionally, through the specialized DK Elder System karaoke machine called "FREE DAM LIFE," users will have the chance to sing along to "Doremi Fanarashido♪" accompanied by dance videos. The project also includes expanding the reach of the DK Elder System to local government facilities and care homes, thereby supporting Narashino's initiative to utilize the power of song for societal benefits.
