Savor the New Negi Shio Gyutan Set Meal at Nakayama Tofu Shop

Introducing the New Negi Shio Gyutan Set Meal

The Nakayama Tofu Shop, a specialized sundubu restaurant operated by Tobira Dining Co., Ltd., part of the Arkland Service Holdings Group, is delighted to announce the launch of a new limited-time menu item, the Negi Shio Gyutan Set Meal, starting September 24, 2025. This exciting new dish blends the fresh flavors and hearty satisfaction that diners crave as the autumn season approaches.

The Perfect Combination

The Negi Shio Gyutan Set Meal is crafted with a focus on harmonizing refreshing tastes with satisfying portions. The star of this set is the Negi Shio Gyutan (grilled beef tongue with green onion salt), expertly cooked to bring out its savory flavors. It is complemented by house-made namul (Korean pickled vegetables), and a mini serving of sundubu (Korean soft tofu stew), providing a delightful and slightly luxurious dining experience that fills both the stomach and the heart.

Refreshing and Hearty

The Negi Shio Gyutan is grilled to perfection with aromatic green onion salt sauce, resulting in a rich yet light flavor that pairs excellently with rice. To elevate the taste further, a wedge of lemon is included, allowing diners to squeeze it over the beef tongue for a refreshing finish.

Additionally, the set features homemade namul, prepared fresh daily in the restaurant. Its crunchy texture and sweet flavors enhance the taste of the beef tongue, creating a perfect balance. Accompanying the dish is a mini sundubu made with house-made tofu and a broth rich in katsuobushi (dried bonito), bringing another layer of satisfaction to this hearty meal.

Customization Options

For those who prefer a personal touch, the mini sundubu can be swapped with a mini cold noodle, and the rice can be changed to mini bibimbap for an additional charge, allowing for customization based on your mood!

About Nakayama Tofu Shop

Founded in May 2020, Nakayama Tofu Shop has quickly gained popularity with its dedication to high-quality sundubu. With a focus on providing a comfortable and inviting space for solo diners and groups alike, the restaurants feature a simple yet attractive design, primarily with counter seating, making it easy for anyone to stop by.

Commitment to Quality

The exceptional tofu offered at Nakayama Tofu Shop is made from the highly regarded Toyomasari soybeans, known for their flavor and natural sweetness, termed as the 'Yokozuna of soybeans.' This results in a tofu that is soft, mildly sweet, and of superior quality, handcrafted daily at the establishment.

The sundubu soup is crafted with a base of katsuobushi and pork, complemented by house-made tategi (Korean chili paste), pureed vegetables, and clams, culminating in a dish that offers a profound yet simple delight in each bite.
