New Graduate Recruitment Conference 2026 Winter
Overview
The New Graduate Recruitment Conference 2026 Winter, organized by OneCareer and Benesse i-Career, is set to take place online over two days: January 28 and 29, 2026. Under the theme "Transforming Students' Current Realities into Effective Recruitment Strategies," this conference aims to help companies understand and adapt to the evolving values and decision-making processes of students in today's competitive recruitment landscape.
Background
In an era marked by decreasing birth rates and changing perceptions among youth regarding their careers, understanding students has become a vital component of successful recruitment. Companies must move beyond traditional approaches as students' values and preferences diversify more than ever. The ability to identify and grasp the "reality of students" will greatly impact a company's competitive edge in talent acquisition.
This conference will be the fourth collaboration between OneCareer and Benesse i-Career, where attendees can engage in open dialogues between companies and students, allowing for the exchange of insights and fostering a collaborative environment. By incorporating students' voices and research data, the event endeavors to shape an optimal approach to recruitment, aiming to integrate gathered insights into effective hiring strategies.
Keynote Sessions
Newly announced keynote addresses will focus on practical content related to the latest strategies for recruiting graduates of 2027 and 2028. There will be discussions featuring Daikin Industries and Sansan about the "Golden Ratio of Employee Experience and Treatment," alongside a session diving into the behind-the-scenes of job hunting led by "Shun Diary," a popular YouTube channel with over 300,000 subscribers, along with current students from the class of 2028. In total, five new sessions will be added, articulating fresh norms for successfully attracting new talent from both students' perspectives and companies' organizational capabilities.
