Higer Bus Launches Its First European Parts and Service Center in Luxembourg
On July 7, 2025, the inaugural ceremony for Higer Bus Europe's Parts Center and Service Station took place in Luxembourg. The event was attended by prominent figures including Hua Ning, the Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg, and Lex Delles, the Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism of Luxembourg. Also present were local business leaders and representatives from both Chinese and Luxembourgish companies, highlighting the collaborative spirit of this important venture.
During the event, Minister Delles and other attendees participated in a test drive of the Higer electric bus, commending the decision to establish Higer's first European service hub in Luxembourg, a strategic crossroads in Europe. The newly established parts center is set to stock a comprehensive range of bus components, which will significantly shorten delivery times and enhance service for customers across Europe.
Earlier, in late 2024, Minister Delles led a governmental delegation to Higer Bus, witnessing the delivery of a fleet of electric buses to Luxembourg. These buses belong to the Azure series, designed to meet the evolving demands of urban transport. They incorporate state-of-the-art energy technologies and smart manufacturing processes. With advanced technology and operational efficiency, these buses not only align with European low-carbon and environmental protection ideals, but also cater to practical needs in Europe’s historic centers by boosting electrification and coverage.
The entire design concept of the Azure buses resonates well with European regulations and standards. Available in various lengths, these buses can have adjustable seating arrangements tailored to customer specifications. They are fully electric, low-floor vehicles that can serve various operational scenarios including urban main and secondary routes, suburban operations, and point-to-point services.
Operators can flexibly adjust service routes based on passenger flow, effectively leveraging the vehicle’s advantages to maximize transport efficiency and significantly reduce operational costs. Currently, 11 Higer buses are already in operation in Luxembourg, primarily for intercity connections. Their reliability and driving comfort have received positive feedback from local passengers, underscoring the trust in Higer’s products.
As Higer Bus further establishes its presence in the European market, this strategic move signals a commitment to innovation and sustainability in public transport, promising a greener future for urban mobility in Luxembourg and beyond. The combination of cutting-edge technology and localized service presents a winning formula in addressing the contemporary challenges of urban transportation.
With the launch of this service center, Higer Bus not only strengthens its support for its electric buses but also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through reduced service times and improved accessibility to spare parts. The collaboration between Chinese technology and Luxembourg's strategic position in Europe is expected to contribute to the broader goals of sustainable public transport and infrastructure development in the region.
In conclusion, Higer Bus's proactive steps in establishing its operations in Luxembourg herald a new chapter in the European electric bus landscape, showcasing the potential for international partnerships in driving forward the future of eco-friendly transportation.
