The second position was claimed by the Classic Black Silver plate, with 6,903 units sold, reflecting Texans' persistent love for the sleek elegance that black plates offer.

They exude modernity and charm, seamlessly blending with any vehicle color,” he stated. This indicates that Texas residents are clearly gravitating toward more streamlined and versatile designs.

College & Sports Plate Rankings

In the realm of college-themed plates, Texas A&M University emerged as the frontrunner, maintaining its appeal among fans and alumni alike. Following closely were the University of Texas in second place and Texas Tech University in third.

In the sports categories, the Dallas Cowboys continued their dominance as the top choice among Texans, with the Dallas Stars and the Houston Texans securing the next two positions, respectively. This reflects the robust fan base these teams maintain within the state, further emphasizing Texas' rich sports culture.

Charitable Impact

Highlighting the purpose behind specialty plates, the Texas Parks and Wildlife department shined in the charity segment. The Bluebonnet design took the top spot, followed by the Horned Lizard and the Monarch Butterfly plates. It’s evident that Texans not only appreciate aesthetic designs but also wish to support their environment through their vehicle choices.
