Vantage Foundation Partners with The Habbit Factory
The Vantage Foundation is excited to announce its collaboration with The Habbit Factory, a charity based in London dedicated to using the power of theater and creativity to nurture self-confidence and resilience in children. This partnership reflects Vantage’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and fostering inclusive empowerment, specifically targeting young individuals from underserved or disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Habbit Factory has been a leader in creative youth development for over two decades. With a focus on inclusion and emotional support, the organization provides theatre-based programs aimed at improving public speaking, storytelling abilities, and personal confidence for kids and teens. Currently, they support 156 young individuals actively through their membership program and connect with hundreds more through educational outreach initiatives and partnerships with schools.
As part of their mission to uplift local communities, volunteers from the Vantage Foundation took part in a recent creative workshop at The Habbit Factory. This hands-on experience allowed volunteers to channel their energies to inspire and guide the next generation of creators. Among the volunteers was Ben Joseph, who brought his expertise in dance and performing arts to the table.
“Many of these children come from disadvantaged backgrounds and may lack self-esteem or confidence,” stated Ben. “By earning their trust and creating a supportive environment, we help them grow, express themselves, and uncover their identities. The Habbit Factory is a safe, empowering space for every child, and I am proud to contribute to something this significant.”
A significant aspect of The Habbit Factory's success rests on the shoulders of its volunteers, many of whom are former participants who have returned to give back to the community. This cycle of mentorship fosters transformation and growth at the heart of their operations.
Lee Giles, Artistic Director and CEO of The Habbit Factory, remarked, “We enjoyed hosting the Vantage Foundation at our workshop. It was a valuable opportunity for both teams to connect, share insights, and learn from one another’s approaches to making a difference in the community.”
Steven Xie, Executive Director of Vantage Foundation, echoed these sentiments, stating, “Supporting The Habbit Factory aligns tightly with our mission. We believe in creating confidence through creativity and connections. Watching our volunteers engage deeply in community-led initiatives reinforces our commitment to impactful changes in young people's lives.”
Together, the collaboration between Vantage Foundation and The Habbit Factory underscores the incredible potential of partnerships grounded in compassion, creativity, and a shared vision for empowerment. Through this synergy, both organizations strive to cultivate a future where every child can not only find their voice but also possess the confidence to express it.
