As we welcome the season of vibrant blooms and gentle breezes, Atelier Shimura invites you to immerse yourself in its upcoming kimono exhibition, "Atelier Shimura's Kimono - The Breeze of Nature." This special event highlights the artistic spirit of the legendary textile artist Fukumitsu Shimura, showcasing garments crafted with nature's gifts. Each kimono is an embodiment of the beauty found in our natural world, intricately woven from lustrous silk threads derived from silkworms and dyed using plant-based colors.

Atelier Shimura represents a new generation of artisans dedicated to honoring the rich traditions of textile art. The colors and textures of these kimonos draw upon the landscapes and stories of nature.
