LONGi's Upgraded 'Lighthouse Factory' Launches Advanced HPBC 2.0 Production Line

LONGi's Upgraded 'Lighthouse Factory'

On February 25, 2025, LONGi, a prominent player in the global solar industry, showcased its upgraded HPBC 2.0 production line during the "Lighthouse Factory" Media Tour at its Jiaxing base. This event marked a first for the company, as the production line was publicly unveiled to nearly 20 media representatives, providing a detailed look at the manufacturing process behind its innovative Hi-MO X10 solar modules.

Launch of the HPBC 2.0 Production Line

Originally launched in May 2024, the HPBC 2.0 modules gained traction with industry stakeholders and customers alike, especially with the introduction of the Hi-MO X10 series in October 2024. In response to increasing market demand, LONGi has embarked on a comprehensive transformation of its production lines since the latter half of 2024. The Jiaxing facility was strategically selected for this upgrade due to its cutting-edge capabilities in intelligent manufacturing and digitalization, strongly positioning LONGi as a leader in solar technology.

Production Capacity Goals
LONGi aims to ramp up its HPBC 2.0 production capacity to an impressive 50GW by the end of 2025, with the Jiaxing factory responsible for over 20GW of this output. This facility is recognized as the only "Lighthouse Factory" in the worldwide photovoltaic sector, epitomizing the pinnacle of digital manufacturing and the principles of Industry 4.0. Such advancements are crucial as the market continues to expand, with the Jiaxing factory serving as the backbone for the high-quality supply chain of Hi-MO X10 modules.

Xie Shundong, head of the second phase of the Jiaxing production base, confirmed at the event that this factory comprises three segments dedicated to the production of HPBC 2.0 modules. By the conclusion of 2025, it is projected that at least 40% of the overall capacity for HPBC 2.0 modules will originate from the Jiaxing plant.

Upgrading the Production Line

The recent upgrade of the HPBC 2.0 production line at the Jiaxing "Lighthouse Factory" promises a production capacity increase of at least 30% compared to previous capabilities. The facility is now fully operational with a commitment to maintain a 24-hour production schedule, thus streamlining supply to meet customer demand for BC products.

Celebrating 25 Years of LONGi

On February 14, LONGi celebrated a pivotal milestone as it marked its 25th anniversary in the solar industry. During the celebrations, it was also announced that the warranty period for Hi-MO X10 panels has been extended from 25 to 30 years. This extended warranty reflects the company’s confidence in its products, backed by stringent quality control processes that exceed international IEC standards.

The Hi-MO X10's assurance of longevity is not just a marketing strategy; it is a testament to LONGi's commitment to delivering high-performance solar solutions that customers can trust.

In conclusion, with the enhanced capabilities of its upgraded HPBC 2.0 production line, LONGi's Jiaxing factory sets a new benchmark in the solar manufacturing industry. As LONGi continues to innovate and expand, industry observers will be keenly watching how these advancements will impact the future of renewable energy solutions worldwide.
