Event Highlights

Step 1: Learn through Panels and Movies

Participants will start their experience by watching informative panels and videos that detail the current state of food supply chains and the costs involved in getting food into consumers’ hands. This informative content allows attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of what determines food pricing.

Step 2: Determine Fair Prices

Customers will see a variety of items, including milk, tofu, natto, potatoes, onions, and pre-cut cabbage, all displayed without price tags. Alongside the products, data about production, manufacturing, distribution, and retail will be available to help attendees decide what fair prices should be.

Step 3: Purchase at Your Price

After determining what they believe to be a fair price, participants can purchase their chosen food items at the price they set. The actual selling prices will be provided on the receipts, enabling participants to compare their estimated prices against market rates. A photo spot will also be set up for attendees to capture their experience.
