At TIB, the manufacturing startup facility, dubbed TIB FAB, offers various resources, including access to 3D printers and ongoing consultation with technical advisors. The program aims to support individuals and seed-stage startups focused on transforming their ideas into viable businesses through the TIB FAB Makers Challenge 2026.
Program Features
The TIB FAB Makers Challenge 2026 is designed to provide comprehensive support to participants over a span of seven months. Here’s what you can expect from the program:
- - Access to Manufacturing Resources: Participants will enjoy free use of state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, electronic circuit design tools, metalworking machinery, and environmental testing facilities to aid in product development.

Eligibility Criteria
To participate in TIB FAB Makers Challenge 2026, the following requirements must be met:
- - Individuals or entities must have a concept for a hardware product or a prototype they wish to develop.
- - Applicants must be at least 15 years old and have graduated from middle school.
- - Participants should demonstrate a commitment to product development.
- - Development of a prototype should be realized by February 2027 through full participation in the program.
Costs and Participation
The program is entirely free. However, participants will be responsible for their own food, transportation, and some material expenses. Up to 15 teams, each consisting of a maximum of two members, will be accepted into the program, primarily conducted onsite at TIB FAB or available spaces within TIB.
