Chubb Appoints Seshadri Iyer as New Leader for Global Operations and Digital Strategy

Chubb Welcomes Seshadri Iyer as New Executive Vice President

On March 11, 2026, Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) made a notable announcement in corporate leadership by appointing Seshadri (Sesh) Iyer as Executive Vice President for Operations, Technology, and Digital Transformation, effective from April 6. Iyer succeeds the well-respected Julie Dillman, who is set to retire after nearly ten years with the company.

In his new role, Iyer will oversee Chubb's global operations and technology initiatives, collaborating closely with Sean Ringsted, the Chief Digital Business Officer. Their joint efforts aim to further advance Chubb's strategy of becoming a digitally integrated organization—a priority across all aspects of underwriting, sales, and service operations worldwide.

Evan G. Greenberg, Chubb's Chairman and CEO, expressed gratitude for Dillman’s significant contributions during her tenure, highlighting her leadership in transforming the company’s technology and operations. He stated, "Julie has been instrumental in building and leading our technology and operations organization. She brought a professionalism, drive, and discipline that lays a strong foundation for our future evolution."

Greenberg also shared his confidence in Iyer, stating, "Sesh is an accomplished executive who brings a wealth of experience in creating large-scale technology-enabled change and using data and technology to drive competitive advantage. He has my complete confidence to lead our global operations and technology organization."

Iyer's extensive background prior to joining Chubb includes nearly 20 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he engaged clients across various industries, including financial services in North America, Europe, and Asia. His latest role at BCG was as the North America chair for BCG X, the company’s tech design and development division. He also led lean services and operations in technology and IT, as well as cloud computing initiatives across the Americas.

In terms of structure, Iyer will have key reports including Gordon Mackechnie, the Global Head of Technology; Mike Jones, the Global Operations Officer; and Jamie Trish, the Global Transformation Officer. Additionally, Rakshit Kapoor, Global Data Officer, will report to both Iyer and Ringsted.

Dillman served as Executive Vice President and Digital Transformation Officer since 2022. Before that, she held the role of Senior Vice President and Global Head of Operations and Technology. Dillman began her career with Chubb in 2016, previously serving as Executive Vice President of Operations, eBusiness, and Analytics at Travelers Insurance.
