Jaguar Transport Holdings Expands Its Network with Railroad Acquisitions

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its operations in the transportation sector, Jaguar Transport Holdings, LLC, has officially announced its acquisition of the Columbia Basin Railroad (CBRW) and the Central Washington Railroad (CWA). Beginning on August 27, 2025, Jaguar will take over operations of these vital rail lines, following the successful completion of the acquisition and receiving the necessary approvals from the Surface Transportation Board (STB).

Stu Towner, CEO of Jaguar Transport Holdings, expressed enthusiasm about this significant addition to the company. The Columbia Basin Railroad interchanges with BNSF at Connell, WA, while the Central Washington Railroad connects with BNSF in Yakima and Gibbon, facilitating smooth operations and logistical efficiency for its clients. Towner emphasized the disciplined approach Jaguar takes towards acquisitions, highlighting the intrinsic value of the existing infrastructure, dedicated workforce, and an expanding customer base associated with the newly acquired railroads.
