About the Speaker


Shohei Shimizu, who also serves as the CEO of E-Commerce Masters Club, has an extensive background in the field. Born in 1975 and a graduate of Kansai University, he began his career at Dream Train Internet (DTI) as a customer support manager, where he led his team to the top rank in satisfaction across several specialist publications. After joining Rakuten, he became an e-commerce consultant overseeing numerous departments and managing up to 600 stores. His ventures included enhancing security for stores, implementing API for order and card payment, and spearheading affiliate marketing efforts.

In 2010, Shohei launched the E-commerce Masters Club, a membership service aimed at supporting network shops. Following a merger with Greenwich Co., Ltd. in November 2023, he now services over 5,000 clients, including approximately 50% of the award-winning shops for Rakuten Shop of the Year 2024.
