A Vision from Passion

Founded by Myka and Caleb Huett, this cozy establishment is not just about coffee; it embodies a community-first approach. Myka brings years of barista expertise to the table, having worked in coffee shops since she was 17. Her journey through the coffee world, including a significant stint at Crazy Llama Coffee in Joplin, Missouri, where she served Crimson Cup coffee, has fueled her desire to launch her own shop.

Transitioning from a career in orthopedic trauma while continuing to work behind the coffee bar, Myka emphasizes the importance of connection and conversation in her craft. Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea, the renowned roaster from Columbus, Ohio, played a crucial role in transforming the Huetts' vision into reality through their 7 Steps to Success consulting program. This initiative offers a detailed road map for budding coffee entrepreneurs, and with over 300 independent shops to their name across 37 states, their expertise is evident.

Brewing a Local Connection

The incorporation of local culture and community spirit is evident in every corner of the shop, located at 10 Paul Wood Lane. The Huetts are determined to create an inviting atmosphere where serving excellent coffee goes hand in hand with building relationships. Myka noted how rewarding it has been to see customers come back after discovering their drinks, a sign that they are indeed on the right track.

Caleb adds, "We love how our customers react when they try our coffee for the first time; their smiles say it all!"

"Getting that first visit is always the hardest part, but we find that once people try our drinks, most return," Myka remarked.
