Exciting Renewal Event at Miyazaki Park in Chiba: Engaging Community and Youth

Exciting Renewal Event at Miyazaki Park in Chiba

On April 25, a memorable event took place at Miyazaki Park, situated in Chiba City’s Chuo Ward, marking the completion of significant renovations. This gathering aimed to foster community bonds and promote the healthy growth of children. Organized by Hoosiers Corporation, along with the Minamimachi Kyokai, Miyako Famiglia, Kanto Gakuin University (Nakatsu Lab), and Chiba University (Ito Junichi Lab), this occasion saw approximately 120 participants come together in a vibrant display of community spirit.

The purpose of the event was not only to celebrate the renovated park but also to deepen relationships within the local community. The theme of the day, “Let’s Deliver Our Dreams to the New Miyazaki Park,” inspired participants to express their hopes and goals by writing on wooden stakes, which were then used to outline the future grassy areas of the park.

With volunteers from Kanto Gakuin University and Chiba University, attendees ranging from young children to adults gathered, showcasing a significant community presence. Many expressed their delight in the transformations made to the park, which has now become a cherished space for all, from the youngest infants to elderly citizens.
