Drawing inspiration from the precious metals and stones of the Yurman family's private collection, the structure captures the spirit of craftsmanship synonymous with the David Yurman brand.

Architectural Innovation

The architectural approach to the storefront involved a creative discussion around designing a jewelry piece. Tognon described it as carving a gigantic stone volume to create a façade that harmonizes split stone with metallic hues, resulting in an extraordinary monolithic street presence that captures attention. This façade is adorned with an impressive extruded logo, signifying the brand's American roots.

Upon entering the boutique, visitors are greeted with meticulously crafted installations made from various stone surfaces reminiscent of precious jewelry. A tiered wall made of vertically cut granite pieces curves like a stunning chain, while the distinctive Cable motif, a hallmark of the brand, is artistically integrated throughout the space, visible in elements like the sculptural handrail at the store's entrance and a circular showcase beneath the staircase.

On the second floor, a private salon offers a stunning view of the Design District, featuring the brand's men's, women's, and high jewelry collections, along with an extraordinary array of David Yurman's personal artworks and private objects.

Tognon’s approach emphasizes deconstructing elements into their basic forms and reimagining them, similar to how the brand’s Cable motif is continuously reinterpreted and infused into their designs. Serving as a common thread, Cable will continue to be utilized in innovative and contemporary ways throughout various collections.

Unveiling Exclusive Styles

The new boutique introduces exclusive styles inspired by the magnetic atmosphere of Miami, its landscapes, and tropical sunsets. Vivid semiprecious stones in electric pink, neon green, cobalt blue, and fiery orange embody the city’s excitement and vitality.
