From October 15 to 17, 2025, the popular assembly toy brand Blokees made a splash at its first appearance at the China Toy Expo 2025 in Shanghai. This event marked a significant milestone for the brand, as it introduced two major product categories: Blokees Model Kits and BLOKEES WHEELS. Throughout the expo, Blokees showcased a vast array of over 100 products featuring nearly 30 globally recognized characters, including Ultraman, Transformers, DC superheroes, and Sanrio favorites.
Blokees highlighted its innovative product ecosystem designed to meet the diverse needs of global play enthusiasts. Among the standout exhibits was the HERO10 product line, which introduced several exciting new series. Featured products included the Transformers Galaxy Version 09 - Darkest Hour, along with new entries from the Saint Seiya and Kamen Rider series. Notably, Blokees rolled out the DC Defender Version 01 - Legendary Batman Assemble, marking the brand's first commercial venture into the world of DC Comics collectibles.
The Blokees exhibition drew particular attention with its Champion and Legend series, targeting model enthusiasts aged 16 and over. The display featured nearly 50 model kits created in collaboration with famous brands such as EVANGELION, Saint Seiya, and Transformers. An impressive 70% of the showcased products were fresh releases, signaling Blokees' commitment to innovation and creativity.
Additionally, the new daadoos series, aimed specifically at female consumers, was introduced, further expanding Blokees' range. Inspecting the show floor, attendees were introduced to the NEST series, which prominently featured characters from The Powerpuff Girls. This marked the inaugural commercialization of this particular series in the marketplace.
One of the most exciting new categories unveiled was BLOKEES WHEELS, which officially debuted previously at WF 2025. This expansive range aimed to cater to both casual fans and dedicated collectors. The Series C was tailored for general fans and featured designs inspired by Ultraman, while Series E targeted adult enthusiasts, showcasing items inspired by the cult classic film franchise Fast & Furious—a first for Blokees as they ventured into cinematic merchandising.
The China Toy Expo also witnessed Blokees displaying exceptional custom creations in collaboration with the BFC community, showcasing the brand's dedication to co-creation with fans. Alongside the expo, Blokees hosted a two-day offline competition, engaging participants in six themed challenges based on their interests.
