They shared insights into startup support strategies and underscored the role of Tokyo Innovation Base as a hub for fostering international collaboration. Programs designed to assist foreign businesses entering the Japanese market, such as “Access to Tokyo,” were discussed, underlining the government's enthusiasm for building partnerships with Indian firms.

GHV’s Vision for Cross-Border Innovation



Next, Vikram Upadhyaya, founder of GHV, elaborated on their mission to unite Indian innovations with Japanese enterprises to develop scalable and impactful solutions. He emphasized successful collaborations with well-known Japanese companies, highlighting achievements like the DXLab™ framework which promotes innovation through synergy with deep tech startups. Upadhyaya's presentation painted an optimistic picture of the business opportunities that lie in the Japan-India partnership.

Dynamic Pitch Sessions by Startups



The heart of the event was the pitches from nine Indian startups targeting the Japanese market across diverse sectors, including AI, healthcare, logistics, and more. Here are some of the most notable companies:

1. Probus Smart Things: This deep tech firm presented their energy grid optimization solution, PROLT ENERGY.AI, enhancing the green energy procurement process for industrial clients.

2. Consumr.ai (ProfitWheel): Utilizing unique AI technologies, they shared success stories of improved marketing effectiveness for global firms like Dell through customer behavior insights.

3. FoodYoga: Focused on health-conscious consumers, FoodYoga introduced snacks made from lotus puff, highlighting their relevance to the yoga lifestyle and their competitive edge in Japan.

4. CaRPM: Founded by IIT graduates, CaRPM showcased an innovative vehicle diagnostics service that combines AI to identify auto parts, creating significant opportunities in Japan's automotive aftermarket.

5. DaveAI: Their generative AI framework, GRYD, provides businesses with a way to build and operate AI agents securely, supporting long-term AI strategies with data privacy in focus.

6. CargoFL: They discussed their cloud-based transportation management system, aimed at digitizing and optimizing the supply chain to address logistics challenges in Japan.

7. DeepTekAI: Tackling the shortage of radiologists, they introduced AI solutions for medical imaging diagnostics, showcasing their innovative platforms at different stages of medical application.

8. Peer Robotics: Offering flexible automation solutions, their approach allows existing equipment adaptations for industries facing workforce shortages, particularly appealing for Japan's market.

9. Rezo AI: Their platform transforms customer experiences through proactive AI engagement, demonstrating their commitment to long-term collaborative ventures with Japanese firms.

Do Lab India Introduction



The closing remarks were delivered by Ryousuke Kubodera, CEO of Dooox, who elaborated on the Do Lab India initiative. This platform is aimed at reducing entry barriers for Japanese businesses in India through membership support focused on test marketing, market research, and partnership facilitation. The event served as a tangible manifestation of their strategy to bolster collaborative efforts with elite Indian startups.
