The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recently sounded the alarm regarding the RiKiss Submersible LED Lights, urging consumers to immediately stop using these products. This warning comes amid grave safety concerns associated with the potential ingestion of the lithium coin batteries contained in these lights.

Safety Violations


The RiKiss Submersible LED Lights have been found to be in violation of federal safety regulations concerning consumer products equipped with button cell or coin batteries. These regulations are designed to protect children from the serious consequences of battery ingestion, which can lead to internal burns and even death. CPSC regulations, particularly under Reese’s Law, mandate stringent requirements for warning labels and performance to ensure the safety of products that could harm children.

The CPSC has issued a notice of violation to Huizhoushiquanhaibaihuoyouxiangongsi, the seller operating under the RiKiss brand. Despite the issued warning, RiKiss hasn't taken steps to address the matter or propose a remedy for consumers, heightening concerns over the product's safety.
