Ski-Doo Revives Snow PASS Program to Support Snowmobiling Community and Environment

Ski-Doo Revives the Snow PASS Program

Ski-Doo, a hallmark in the world of snowmobiling, is once again stepping up its commitment to the winter sports community with the revival of the Snow PASS Program. This initiative aims to Protect, Access, Sustain, and Support the beloved winter playgrounds essential for snowmobiling across North America. The program underscores Ski-Doo's focus on responsible riding and community engagement in maintaining the sport’s future.

A Legacy of Support

Since its inception, the Snow PASS Program has significantly impacted local snowmobiling communities. It has provided over CAD $1.2 million in financial assistance to more than 240 community-driven projects. These projects are crucial for enhancing trail systems, improving access, and catering to hundreds of thousands of snowmobilers eager to explore winter landscapes safely.

David Baker, Vice President and General Manager of Powersports, North America at BRP, emphasized the importance of local clubs and volunteers who tirelessly work to keep the trails maintained and accessible. “They support continued access and protect the beautiful playgrounds we all enjoy,” Baker remarked, highlighting Ski-Doo's responsibility to back these efforts actively.

Funding Opportunities for 2026-27

For the upcoming riding season, the Snow PASS Program will extend grant opportunities of up to $5,000 to eligible national, provincial, state, and local nonprofit clubs or community organizations. These funds are intended to:
  • - Protect, maintain, or expand access to riding areas
  • - Enhance trail infrastructure, grooming, and signage
  • - Strengthen club revitalization and encourage volunteer engagement
  • - Increase accessibility and welcome new riders into the sport

Applications for these grants opened on April 1, 2026, and will be accepted until July 31, 2026, with funding decisions expected by September 15, 2026. Past applicants with proposals that did not secure funding are encouraged to submit new requests.
