About the Artist

Choujin X is a series written by Sui Ishida, a talented manga artist hailing from Fukuoka. He previously gained fame for his work on Tokyo Ghoul published in Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2018. Since May 2021, Ishida has been captivating readers with Choujin X in the Next Door Young Jump.

The narrative begins dramatically with a plane crash seemingly caused by a “superhuman” event. Surprisingly, the aircraft has minimal damage, and remarkably, there are 200 survivors. The story follows high school students Kurohara Tokiyo and Azuma after they encounter unexpected challenges returning from volunteer work for the accident cleanup.
