Seminar Program
The seminar consists of two parts:
Part 1 | Teacher Practice Seminar
Title: "From Zero to One: Designing Processes for Successful Inquiry Initiatives"
Speaker: Shunsuke Akao, Aichi Prefectural Tsushima High School
In this segment, we will introduce practical examples focusing on the essential design for launching inquiry initiatives from scratch. Participants will learn how to create annual plans and provide student support, all of which can be replicated even by first-time facilitators.
Part 2 | Special Session
Title: "Forecasting the Trends of Inquiry for 2026"
Speaker: Yuuki Tanaka, CEO of Study Valley
Drawing on support provided to over 400 schools nationwide, this session will unveil emerging trends in inquiry-based learning, focusing on the key terms of “evaluation, collaboration, and AI.” Mr. Tanaka will provide insights into what important trends educators should keep an eye on as we approach the year 2026.
