As the conclusion of the WTA Finals Riyadh presented by PIF approaches, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has unveiled stunning portraits featuring the world's top stars, emphasizing the seamless blend of sports and fashion. This year, the portraits aimed to illustrate how tennis transcends mere competition and becomes an integral part of cultural expression.

The portraits showcase the individuality and strength of these remarkable athletes, who are not only celebrated for their prowess on the court but also for their unique styles off it. Players adorned outfits from renowned international designers, highlighting the intersection of sports and glamour. Featured players included:
  • - Coco Gauff in a bespoke design by Miu Miu
  • - Jasmine Paolini dressed in a stylish Brunello Cucinelli
  • - Aryna Sabalenka in elegant Alberta Ferretti
  • - Iga Swiatek flaunting a piece by Lurline, a Saudi brand founded by sisters Sarah and Siham Albinali.

Reflecting on the experience, Gauff, the reigning singles champion, stated, “It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in a variety of outfits and styles. It’s always exciting to dress up, especially when we often wear training clothes throughout the season. This was a chance to showcase our personalities and styles in a different light.”

The portraits were captured by celebrated artist Yumna Al-Arashi, a Yemeni-Egyptian-American, at Bab AlSaad—a cultural hub situated in the historic district of Diriyah, Riyadh. Creative direction and styling were managed by SJS Studios from New York City. Each portrait featured elite athletes from both singles and doubles categories, highlighting:
  • - Top Singles Players: Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina.

Over the coming days, these athletes will compete for a record-breaking prize pool of $15.5 million, with the potential singles champion earning $5.235 million, marking the highest award ever in women’s sports. The victorious singles player will be honored with the Billie Jean King Trophy, while the winning doubles team will receive the Martina Navratilova Trophy. Matches will kick off on November 1 at the King Saud University Sports Arena and continue until November 8.

The WTA has been a driving force in promoting equality for women in sports since its inception in 1973 by Billie Jean King. The association continues to break boundaries and stands as a powerhouse for professional women's tennis, celebrating every match point with an audience of over one billion worldwide.
