CISCE 2026: Expanding International Participation in Global Supply Chains
CISCE 2026: A New Era of International Collaboration
The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), scheduled to take place from June 22 to 26 in Beijing, is anticipated to break participation records in the realm of global supply chains. According to Li Xingqian, the Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), this year’s event will welcome an unprecedented level of international engagement.
A Grand Invitation to Australia
For the first time, Australia will take the honor of being the Guest Country at CISCE. This initiative marks a significant step for the nation as it is Australia's inaugural official participation at the expo on a national level. Australian representation will not only elevate the stature of the event but also reflects the growing international recognition of CISCE.
In addition to Australia’s prestigious role, five notable international organizations will return as supporting partners for the expo. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will collaborate to facilitate discussions and networking opportunities throughout the event.
New International Guest Provinces
Adding an exciting dimension, CISCE 2026 will introduce an international guest province program for the first time. Joining the legacy of China’s participating provinces, the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Italy’s Liguria will be showcased alongside Anhui and Hainan. This diverse representation underlines the expo's commitment to showcasing global supply chain innovations and collaborative insights.
Anhui Province is set to highlight advances in scientific and technological innovations, focusing on emerging fields such as smart connected vehicles, next-generation IT solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), high-end equipment manufacturing, advanced materials, and low-altitude aviation. Meanwhile, Hainan will provide a comprehensive overview of developments within its Free Trade Port, shining light on modern service sector supply chains and institutional innovations.
Global Participation and Engagement
As of now, exhibitors from 85 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, with international exhibitors making up 36.5% of all confirmed participants. Notably, Fortune Global 500 companies and leading industry names constitute over 65% of the total attendees. Furthermore, more than 150 foreign delegations have confirmed their visits to China for meetings and business discussions, indicating a major increase in the variety and caliber of representations compared to previous years.
The expo will kick off with an opening ceremony on the morning of June 22, where participants will collectively launch the 4th CISCE Beijing Initiative, setting the tone for cooperation, growth, and innovation in global supply chains.
The significance of CISCE cannot be overstated as it serves as a critical nexus for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators aiming to navigate the complexities of international commerce and supply chain logistics. As we move towards this landmark event, the focus will be on how innovations and partnerships can propel the future of global supply chains, creating pathways for success and sustainability across borders.
