The enchanting Shiki no Kaori Rose Garden, located in Nerima City, Tokyo, is attracting an impressive crowd of over 60,000 visitors this spring. As the season transitions, the garden is now featuring a stunning display of autumn roses that are in full bloom until mid-November. The garden is managed by the Daiichi Engei and Seibu Green Construction and Partners Corporation, showcasing a remarkable collection of 342 different types of roses.

Abundant Aromas and Rich Colors

Autumn roses are known for their rich colors and fragrant aromas, enhanced by the temperature shifts between day and night. Visitors can indulge in two distinctive areas: the Fragrance Rose Garden and the Colorful Rose Garden. The Fragrance Rose Garden is organized by six prominent perfume categories including fruity and Damask varieties, while the Colorful Rose Garden features a dazzling gradient of colors. This captivating setting is just a six-minute walk from Hikari Gaoka Station on the Toei Oedo Line, and entry is free.

Halloween Festivities

Adding to the allure of the season, the garden features Halloween-themed displays, providing perfect photo opportunities. Each year, the staff crafts unique decorations for the Fragrance and Colorful Rose Gardens, ensuring a fresh experience for returning visitors.

A first this year, the Halloween Tunnel adorns the pergola in the Fragrance Rose Garden. Suspended pumpkins and other seasonal decor create an immersive Halloween atmosphere. Visitors are encouraged to relax and enjoy the autumn blooms while capturing memorable moments with family and friends against this festive backdrop.

Autumn Garden Tours

Join a guided tour led by Daiichi Engei's dedicated gardeners, who will share insights about the garden's highlights and the variety of seasonal flowers in bloom.

• - Times: 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM and 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM (Registration opens 30 minutes prior)
• - Location: In front of the lecture building (Rain or shine)
• - Cost: Free, with a maximum of 8 participants per session (first-come-first-served basis)

Harvest Festival Marketplace & Food Trucks

During the 2025 Autumn Festival, enjoy a lively marketplace featuring rose seedlings from Fumiki Koshizaka (creator of Shiki no Kaori) and diverse local vendors selling handmade goods.

Seasonal Market and Cafe

The garden will also host a market and cafe throughout the festival period, allowing visitors to sample seasonal sweets such as pumpkin donuts and rose-flavored treats.
