Indulge in the Melon Afternoon Tea at FANCL

Starting April 25 through June 30, 2025, FANCL's Reiwa Honzen restaurant in Ginza invites you to savor a delightful twist on the traditional afternoon tea experience. Priced at 5,500 yen (including tax), this seasonal offering showcases the finest melons prepared with utmost care by skilled artisans.

A Mesmeric Menu Featuring Seasonal Melons

The Japanese Melon Afternoon Tea features a tantalizing selection of both sweet and savory dishes, all highlighting the essence of melon. Guests can indulge in five varieties of sweets, starting with the refreshingly unique Melon Jelly with Panna Cotta and a stunning Melon Jar Cake. The menu doesn't stop there; the One-Bite Melon Daifuku and a Melon and White Bean Tart provide rich, enjoyable flavors, allowing diners to truly appreciate the taste of fresh melon.

For savory options, experience a distinct flair with three appetizers: a refreshing Melon White Bean Salad, Melon Rolled with Prosciutto, and chilled Steamed Egg Custard. These dishes exemplify the restaurant's commitment to weaving the beauty of Japanese cuisine with seasonal ingredients, making this afternoon tea both satisfying and memorable.

Selection of Inari Sushi

Additionally, patrons can choose two varieties from the Seven Lucky Inari menu, which includes classics like plain, sansho pepper, wasabi, walnut, cheese, black vinegar, green juice, and the seasonal melon option. This allows for a customizable experience, ensuring that each visit can be unique and tailored to your palette.

Scones & Endless Tea Selection

Completing the experience is the unique Brown Rice Flour Taiyaki Scone, which comes stuffed with sweet red bean paste, Ginza honey, and soy milk whipped cream, bridging traditional Japanese flavors with contemporary presentation.

To accompany your feast, 18 types of tea are available for unlimited refills, including five traditional Japanese teas such as Matcha, Sencha, and Hojicha, alongside thirteen varieties of herbal and caffeine-free options, like Elderflower and Turmeric Apple. Such an extensive selection offers a chance for every guest to find their perfect pairing.
