About the Event
The much-anticipated second part of the 'Furusato Gourmet Terrace - Tohoku Festival' is set to take place from April 18 to April 20, 2025. Organized by Intern Inc., based in Tokyo and led by President Hiroshi Hanzawa, the event's tickets have been on presale through the crowdfunding platform Makuake, achieving an impressive 200% of its target fundraising goal. This unique festival aims to promote regional charm through local food offerings.
What to Expect
The second part of the festival will feature a rotating lineup of eight sake breweries from the Tohoku region, providing attendees with a diverse tasting experience. Additionally, a special Tohoku PR booth will be set up, where local government officials will directly interact with attendees, sharing insights and stories about the region.

The first part of the festival was held from April 4 to April 6, 2025, and brought strong attendance, with some items sold out due to high demand. Notable sake breweries and gourmet shops participated, allowing guests to enjoy delicious tasting sessions directly from brewers. The vibrant atmosphere captured the essence of Japanese hospitality and culinary art.

Unique Features of the Second Part
The festival will also introduce a
stamp rally where attendees can collect stamps from each sake brewery. Completing all stations will enter participants into a draw for exclusive prizes, showcasing items such as aprons and original T-shirts.

A special PR booth will be available where visitors can speak with representatives from Tohoku’s six prefectures, gaining firsthand insights into the region's unique culture and attractions. Visitors who follow the booth's official social media will have a chance to win exciting local products.
