Changan Automobile Group has recently launched its newest hybrid vehicle innovation, titled BlueCore HEV, during a global event held in Chongqing, China. This advanced vehicle technology is meticulously designed to meet the energy efficiency demands of urban environments while eliminating the need for external charging.

The BlueCore HEV operates on a self-charging mechanism that utilizes a sophisticated energy management system based on artificial intelligence. This innovation is particularly significant as it aims to mitigate the challenges faced by urban drivers, notably high fuel consumption. Testing has shown that this vehicle achieves a remarkable fuel consumption rate of just 2.98 liters per 100 kilometers in city driving scenarios.
Tailored for Middle East and Africa
Considering the geographical challenges, the BlueCore HEV is specifically tailored for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) markets, where glaring summer temperatures can reach above 45 degrees Celsius, coupled with uneven availability of charging infrastructure. The vehicle is engineered to ensure that drivers experience a seamless and efficient ride, even in the face of challenging weather conditions.
Cities like Riyadh, Cairo, and Casablanca with their notorious congested traffic will benefit greatly from the improved fuel efficiency that the BlueCore HEV offers. Changan’s engineers have meticulously designed the BlueCore HEV to perform excellently in everyday situations by ensuring:
